In our English lessons this week we are focusing on nonsense poems. We read some very funny ones today! We were able to discuss what made them nonsense poems. We also commented on features we had previously learnt about including rhyme and repetition. We then focused on performing poetry aloud. We remembered we needed to use a loud, clear voice with expression. We worked in groups to practise a verse to one of the nonsense poems we enjoyed the most. Look at our video to see how we got on.
