Today Toucans created a still life drawing of fruit i the style of Cezanne.

15th September – Maths – Using base 10 to represent two digit numbers.
As part of our maths lesson today, the Toucans were representing two digit numbers using base 10 to support their learning.

As part of our art lesson, year 2 were experimenting with different types of lines.

Today the Toucans were learning an abridged version of Oliver’s vegetables.
5th September – Imitating the work of Paul Cezanne.
During today’s art lesson, Toucans learnt about French artist Paul Cezanne and imitated one of his most famous paintings.
4th September – Using atlases to find continents.
During today’s Geography lesson, Toucans were using atlases to name and locate the world’s continents.
